Government Contract Manager
CurrentOperate under the supervision of the Director of Federal Government Contracts for Philips. Duties include Government Contract Management and Administration: provide strategic Government sales support, legal and business expertise in the evaluation, development, and negotiation of government contracts, sub-agreements, bids and individual transactions including Federal Supply Schedule (FSS, GSA Advantage, ECAT, DAPA), and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts. Provides maintenance and support to the business for contract administration, including, but not limited to, contract databases and reporting, service, tracking and escalations. Works in conjunction with internal departments (business, finance, legal, service, and sales) to ensure compliance with current policies and procedures. Responsible for supporting negotiating Government contracts and managing their administration to ensure Philips remains in compliance with all agreements, requirements and Federal regulations, while adhering to Philips policies and procedures. Related Responsibilities:Responding to the solicitations that result in the contract award.Managing the contract negotiations including but not limited to DLA, GSA, and FSS contracts.Manage related pre or post award OIG audits.Manage the response to the Government's request to exercise the subsequent Option Year of the Agreement.TAA compliance as new products are added to the agreements Small Business Subcontracting Plan.Monitor commercial promotions and present those that must be given to the Government.Experience in contract structure, terms and conditions and negotiationPossess excellent organization, management, analytical and negotiation skills.Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and ensure completion of tasks. Strong interpersonal skills, an energetic, proactive flexible individual who can work independently and as a team player.
