I serve as the Academic Director of the Master of Business for Veterans (MBV) program at the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. I am an Associate Professor of Clinical Finance and Business Economics at the Marshall School of Business teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels (having taught within the MBA, MBV, and MRED programs). I have received several teaching awards through these efforts including the Dean's Award for Teaching Excellence (2023), several Golden Apple Teaching Awards (2013, 2017, 2019, and 2022), and the Gamma Sigma Alpha Professor of the Year award (2012). I have co-authored four textbooks through Aspen Publishing including: Essentials of Real Estate Law, Second Edition (2024); Contemporary Real Estate Law, Third Edition (2023); The Legal Environment of Business (2022), and Contemporary Business Law (2021). When not teaching, my legal practice focuses on real estate and construction law, business transactions, litigation, and insurance-related matters. I am an AV Preeminent rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.
