I was destined to work in the construction industry. When I was 4 years old, a photo of me playing with my Tonka Trucks Excavator in an excavator bucket full of dirt resulted in me winning a college scholarship from Tonka Trucks, that paid for part of the cost for me bachelors degree in Construction Management. Now a 4th generation construction professional, bringing 15 years of experience in project and construction management. I have managed construction projects in all phases of the construction lifecycle, from the initial concept through design, permitting, procurement, construction, closeout and warranty. My experience includes preconstruction and onsite construction management, project cost estimating, scheduling, change management, claim management, project controls, value engineering, contract negotiation, and procurement. I've worked on both public and private projects in a variety of sectors, including K-12, industrial, higher education, health care, military, residential, and heavy civil in both an Owner's Representative and General Contractor role. I'm a goal oriented person committed to better results. I believe that successful teams and projects are truly interdependent. Meaning, the owner, designers, consultants, cities/towns/authorities, contractor, subcontractors, and suppliers all bring something necessary to a successful outcome and that the teams and my success is dependent on the success of those around us.
