- Responsible for the replenishment of work in process and finished goods inventory. This includes managing min/max levels based on item usage. Monitor spikes and expedite purchase orders accordingly - Negotiate price, freight terms, lead times and proper labeling based on marketing requirements- Work with Operations, Marketing, Sales and Accounting in making decisions on quantities to purchase, delivery schedules, initial production samples and payment terms- Coordinate efficient domestic and international transportation with our suppliers through freight forwarders, truck load, less than truck load and intermodal carriers- Communicate with suppliers on products that do not meet quality control specifications.
