About Kevin Gross

As the Director of EO/IR Technologies at Resonant Sciences, I lead RDT&E efforts to develop and transition novel electro-optical capabilities to the warfighter. As Adjunct Associate Professor of Physics at the Air Force Institute of Technology, I mentor students in the research phase of their advanced degree program and occasionally teach graduate-level physics and optical engineering courses. My primary expertise is in hyperspectral imaging, radiometry & detection, radiative transfer, atmospheric compensation, and gas-phase spectroscopy. I am passionate about using my experience and domain knowledge to develop robust algorithms for physics-based interpretation and exploitation of EO/IR measurements.
