CurrentHaving worked in the electrical construction industry for 32 years, including my 19 years with Broadway, I have accumulated an extensive knowledge of the cost factors that impact an electrical construction project and the importance of cost assessment and control to all of the stakeholders in a project. As part of the Broadway management team, it is my responsibility to bring a project price to the table that encompasses the considerations of the customer budget, the material market, subcontractor qualification, manpower requirements as to skill and number, and labor rates over the course of the project that will enable field personnel to produce the quality of result expected by Broadway customers. I do not consider my job done until the project is complete and the customer is satisfied, therefore I remain in contact with project managers throughout the life of each project. For Broadway, I have prepared and won bids on over $ 100 million of electrical construction projects. Specifically, I have been involved in reviewing bid drawings and specifications, attending pre-construction meetings, identifying the scope of work, take off of all electrical and low voltage systems, soliciting qualified subcontractors and suppliers, attending scope review meetings, purchasing major systems, preparing scope of work and proposal, completing bid forms, reviewing contracts, and preparing necessary documentation for turnover to project management
