East Region

Supported the development of a $45M cogeneration plant at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) by finalizing costing, interviewing subcontractors, and fully developing the project execution schedule. Conducted the turnover to the Construction Manager who is responsible for the execution of the NIST project. Currently participating in the development of a $68M Cogeneration Plant at the Norfolk Naval Base under a Utility Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) project by acting as the operations resource and managing the selection of consultants, contractors, vendors, etc. and performing the same activities as on the NIST project above, including negotiations with customer around contract and cost. During the development of all the projects above, I have implemented standard documents for use by the operations teams and the development engineers on future projects in the region. These documents consist of standards for requests for proposals, development and project schedules, and costing templates. Assisted the JCI branch management team in the Norfolk office in developing their new marine team project management resources to prepare them for multiple projects and multiple truck based employees.

Dubai

Implemented the use of the Advanced Installation Management tool sets in the Middle East Region. Introduced and developed cadence around fundamental KPI processes – Low Performing jobs, Backlog Reviews, Revenue Forecasting accuracy, etc across the Middle East Region. In the absence of a robust SAP/ERP system in the Middle East, led the development of revenue management and reporting systems. SBS-Sales Booking System, PCB-Project Control Book throughout the Middle East Region. Direct reporting team, under my guidance, developed an MS Excel based Installation Business System. This system monitors and tracks all critical aspects of the business, with plans to incorporate other lines of business through future development.

Northwest Region

Developed process improvements with diverse contracting laws throughout the region. This resulted in increased cash flow, decreased Average Trade Working Capital, and higher margins. Moved subcontract request for proposal development, and pricing from project engineering team to project management team to lower risk and increase project implementation, accountability, and profitability. Injected operations department into the development of scope to ensure constructability of retrofit designs by the engineering team.  Integral in the building of productive relationships with the different JCI lines of business within the region to enhance JCI produced product sales opportunities.

Northwest Region

 Development and implementation of subcontract request for proposals and project pricing for all Solutions projects in Montana. Integrated operations team into scope development to ensure constructability of projects. Mentorship of sales and development engineers in Montana to increase our secured sales by 200% in 3 years. Mentored and developed other Project Managers in the region on the use of the JCI tool sets and processes. Contributor and member of the Rewards and Recognition Field Council for JCI

Implemented team size reduction while growing revenue and maintaining positive customer satisfaction. Worked with McQuay Inc. factory to form a partnership that allowed JCI technology to be installed on their equipment, which resulted in lower installed cost and OEM offerings for both Johnson Controls and McQuay Inc. Developed a strong working relationship with the Sioux Falls Service team to share resources and skills to better maintain our customer satisfaction as a branch. Developed and managed the increase of competency levels of engineering teams responsible for DDC design that resulted in significant reductions in unapproved submittals and lowered installed cost due to improperly designed systems.
