This position was broad in nature from basic asset handling and accounting, data entry and record keeping, to site support and ticket entry, as well as customer relation facets to include home based and office based employees and contractors. It called for coordination between our site support (local IT) to our service desk (regular and advanced), and asset coordination and vendor management for assets (hardware,software). Lastly the position required quarterly audits of all assets within the site in comparison to local records.

This position was for a government contract with GDIT. The role was for the classification of military documents in both classified and unclassified to be uploaded into a online repository for viewing by service members worldwide. The classification included assigning metadata values and summaries for these documents before they were to be uploaded onto the MS SharePoint 2010 repository. With a 750 document quota to be met monthly with very small margins for error the position challenged me to strive for excellence. In my time on this contract I was not only promoted to the SME on military documents, but also provided the technical writing for the contract rebid in 2012.
