Education of students from Grades 4-12 about the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program. Responsible for designing and developing hands-on workshops and informational presentations to students and other educators regarding apprenticeship opportunities. Provides work placements and monitors students in apprenticeship positions. Chair of Nipissing Parry Sound Region School-College work initiative. Works regionally accessing funding for Dual Credit Programs and performs the promotion of activity-based workshops for these programs. Acts as Program Manager for the Specialist High Skills Major Program. Provides student guidance for additional certification and enriched programming to specialize their education in their chosen direction.
