A friend told me in 2022 about the opportunities of purchasing an existing business and I found an excellent opportunity to do that in 2023 with Alternative Pest & Termite Control.The company is the largest pest control company in the Verde Valley serving Camp Verde, Cottonwood, and Sedona AZ. Being an owner has given me the opportunity to:- Be picky about who I work with. Alternative Pest pays the bills, so the coaching is a fun ability to give back to the world. - Apply the same principles I use with my clients to build a great business that runs itself. The changes I made in the first few months put us on track to move from losing customers to increasing 20% this year.- Experiment with ideas. In any field there's a lot of learning involved, and it allows me to test the ideas internally before applying to others. I'm building the best company first, which helps me use those ideas with other clients.- Get the full benefit of ideas. When I apply ideas to others, I hope to give them at least 4 to 5x more value than I ever cost.
