Acts as a member of a group in dealing with hazardous situations. Responsible for maintenance and regular weekly checks of SCBA, apparatus, and equipment. · Currently serving an appointed officer position as a Foreman (Assistant Engineer). Coordinated with outside vendors for Apparatus improvements and repairs. · Administratively served as a Trustee of the building. Ensured proper spending and project management was completed. Project Management skills that include a $20,000 kitchen remodel, $30,000 mold remediation, a state energy audit program that ensured that the building was energy efficient valued at around $22,000, and currently looking into a $300,000 addition for the firehouse to expand services to the public. · Assisted Commissioners of Fire District#1 establish a social media presence on Instagram with the goal to promote public awareness of District operations/events, and act as a recruiting tool to citizens interested in joining the District.

Reports to the Fire Marshal any unsafe conditions of structures located in the Township. Investigates fires to determine origin, cause, and speed.Reports findings to Fire Marshal on authorized forms detailing violations and necessary corrective action.Serves penalty notices, orders, rulings, and other legal process including notices of violation. Issuespenalty notices for fire hazards not corrected on subsequent inspection. Prepares reports of violations and penalty orders. Prepares inspection reports which are complete and properly filed.Works closely with fire officials, fire departments, and municipal officials in interpreting/applying the NJUniform Fire Code and ensuring construction permits are obtained where necessary.Educates children and adults by attending Fire Safety seminars at schools and places of businessthroughout the Township.
