I am an Information Science major at the University of Maryland with a minor in Cybersecurity through the ACES program. I am looking to master the fundamentals of cybersecurity such as cloud security, risk assessment, network security, and cryptography. I also have coding experience and knowledge in the languages Bash, Terraform, Rego, Python, Java, SQL, and R. I completed an internship with Marriott International where I worked as an Information Security Architect as part of their Global Security team. In this internship, I used Terraform to deploy AWS resources and then complete detailed threat models of them. I used the tool Threat Modeler to identify vulnerabilities and threats in the Security Architecture and then mitigate them on Terraform writing security scripts. Lastly, I used Rego and OPA to write policy as code scripts to ensure that the Terraform scripts had the necessary security controls enabled.I am a passionate learner and I enjoy working and collaborating with others to solve complex problems. I am an eager learner who is always curious to learn new concepts and leverage my skills through projects and certifications.
