What a workday might look like- Undertake end to end project management of developments on behalf of clients.- Oversee all aspects of land development projects including planning and construction.- Manage and direct land development projects to ensure timely completion of projects within budget- Review planning instruments & zoning to ensure that a development will comply with regulations.- Coordinate with Council, Engineers, contractors, suppliers and other parties involved in the development process including Solicitors.- Negotiate contracts and agreements with contractors, and other parties involved in the development process- Construction Estimating - Prepare budgets and track costs during the development process to ensure that projects are on track financially- Supervise and coordinate the design and construction process of a project from start to finish

In my role as General Manager of this new opening, a Oyster bar and seafood restaurant I was responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the operations of the restaurant for an efficient and profitable business. Selection, development and performance management of 30+ employees. This role also included responsibility for business, strategic planning, shift pattern organization and day-to-day management activities ensuring that the operations of the restaurant ran smoothly from budgeting to service.

As General Manager of Burger & Lobster at the very beginning of the concept it was all about developing the Brand name and setting the standards which has seen the business expand from one venue to twelve in London and seven worldwide so far. This role also included responsibility for business performance and being hands on with the day-to-day management duties ensuring that the operation of the restaurant ran to standard.

I was Responsible for the smooth running of the Bar & its business performance. Maintaining high standards of spirits & wines, food, service, health and safety and helping to deliver best service to customers at all times. Managing and organizing the daily schedule and duties for a team of 12 permanent and also casual bar staff. Menu creation and costing as well as accountability for weekly stock control and profit & loss for the bar department.
