My curiosity in the intricacies of biological systems was has been a continual force in my life. Today, I feel a strong connection with scientists across the globe united in their desire to seek answers to fundamental biological questions and devise therapeutic solutions for those most in need.As a stem cell biologist with 13+ years of experience in the fields of organ development and regeneration, I have been devoted to illuminating the complex molecular interactions that mediate cell fate decisions and cell behaviors by using genetically modified mouse models, single cell genomics, molecular biology and data analysis. I have participated in academic research teams studying pancreatic and kidney development, kidney organoid models, skeletal stem cell function and bone regeneration, and aging- and inflammation-related dysfunction. I am an excellent team worker with a proven ability to communicate effectively and manage the design and direction of multiple projects simultaneously. I have extensive experience in mentoring and collaboration would love to learn and work in a stimulating research environment and in a community that shares my exuberance.
