A veteran with a Bachelor of Science in Business IT, an active DOD secret clearance, and a Security+ certification, having recently pivoted into the civilian defense industry after four years as an Army officer. I currently perform system administration tasks at the physical and data link layers on tactical military systems. My duties include network configuration, RAID mirroring, systems monitoring, IAM, asset management, log analysis, technical support, and more.Before returning to my IT roots earlier this year, I am grateful to the Army for giving me a wide breadth of experience in operations, logistics, and both functional and project management, including military leadership of teams of up to 80 personnel.In 2019, I graduated from Virginia Tech with a foundation in Business, IT solutions, and decision support systems. This background helped me bring quantifiable decision-making to my teams in the Army. My projects consistently achieved top results thanks continuous optimization and data-driven analysis.On my days off you might see me trail-running or hiking in the nearest mountains. I love staying active and being in nature, often taking my work outside when the weather permits, or traveling when the opportunity arises.
