Kevin is a seasoned Web3 finance executive, advisor, and board member with over six years of experience establishing and scaling finance and operations functions for Web3 projects. His expertise includes structuring token launches, corporate governance, fundraises, team token plans, and efficient and effective operational processes.Kevin began his career in tax consulting at KPMG. He has been also contributing as the co-chair of the tax and accounting working group at the Crypto Valley Association since 2017, striving to improve clarity in tax and accounting matters.Most recently, Kevin led finance at the Safe, where he oversaw finance, operations, and HR. Concurrently, he served on the Foundation Board at KYVE Foundation.Prior to Safe, Kevin was the interim CFO at BCP Innovations UG, a core development company behind the KYVE Network, before transitioning to a board role at KYVE Foundation.Before KYVE Network, Kevin joined Arweave, a permanent decentralised storage protocol, as their first finance hire and CFO. He established their finance function from the ground up, handling all financial matters for an international group of companies. This included closing the first statutory accounts, fundraising, financial management and corporate restructurings.Earlier in his career, Kevin was a senior tax consultant at KPMG Switzerland, focusing on life sciences and crypto projects. He assisted clients with European value chain restructuring and token launch planning.Kevin holds an LL.M. in International and European Tax Law from Maastricht University (cum laude - with highest honours) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration with a major in Banking & Finance (magna cum laude) from the University of Zurich. Until 2023, he served as a staff officer in a mechanised armoured battalion of the Swiss Armed Forces.
