The founding principal of Studio SKLIM, Kevin Lim, leads an award-winning architectural and interior design firm headquartered in Singapore, with notable projects spanning Singapore, Japan, China, and India. With the early influence of William Lim, one of Singapore’s pioneering architects, Kevin's career trajectory has seen him gain experience across London, Singapore, and Beijing, collaborating with renowned international practices like the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA). Kevin Lim frequently shares his insights at various events; from being a keynote speaker at Design Dialogues organised by the Indian Institute of Architects, Palakkad and Hyundai’s ZER01NE Creators Talks in Seoul, to informal events like Pecha Kucha, Tokyo. Kevin's presence resonates across diverse platforms. Notably, he has contributed to creative initiatives like Heineken’s Open Design Explorations for London Design Week and Hyundai’s ZER01NE Creator program. He has also served as a guest critic at local universities and will run a design studio at the Department of Architecture, National University of Singapore from 2025. Kevin is also the author of their studio’s inaugural monograph “Studio SKLIM. Evolving Techne”, to be published by Images Publishing in January 2025.Kevin Lim holds the AA Diploma from the Architectural Association in London and a Bachelor degree in Architecture from the National University of Singapore. Kevin is also an accredited professional of the India Green Building Council (IGBC).
