Assure production schedules and maintain product quality to customer requirementsAssure equipment and process lines are operating optimally and preventative maintenance is performed regularly Support supply chain, communicate with suppliers to ensure raw materials are supplied as per company requirementsReview imported products and report on findingsContinually assess company systems and procedures and improve where relevant and appropriateObserve and monitor the best practices of competitors in order to find ways to counter any significant advantages held by the competitionResearch and investigate new and/or improved equipment, manufacturing techniques and technologies Manage, develop and lead an efficient and effective team ensuring that all individual and group activities are directed toward the organization's goals. Embrace company OH&S policy and ensure all OH&S rules & regulations are adhered to.Maintain and Control a financial budget and resources as allocated and agreed by GMCommunicate regularly with quality engineers to address any quality concerns.Assist in the design and development of new fabrics for existing and new customers.
