Based on an analysis of the product innovation practices at Widex, and a thorough analysis of internal and external trends in the hearing aid industry, I carried out my Master Thesis Project with a focus on investigating the value that end-users perceive to be able to extract from an interactive voice user interface embedded in their hearing aids. I developed a fully functional prototype able to adjust volume and programme on a pair hearing aids.The development was carried out in a user-centered, iterative fashion with close inclusion of stakeholders at Widex and 16 end-users. This led to a number of novel findings, and a final prototype with a high precision rate and ability to maintain basic conversation and address unmatched features requested by the users.I was awarded a top-grade for my work at my final defense at Copenhagen Business School.

Palo Alto, Silicon Valley

Interning for the Corporate division of ICDK facilitating tech- and knowledge transfer between Silicon Valley-based entities, Danish corporations and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. My responsibilities included: • Execution of the Applied Artificial Intelligence-project working with local- and domestic partners on mapping the state of AI through several case studies, and developing a strategy on where to to get started now. • Researching applicable state-of-the-art technology and trends, and scouting the most promising start-ups to deliver qualified, operational insights and advice for technology partnerships, pilot projects and emerging business models. • Mapping and collecting intelligence on U.S. markets and technologies through desktop research, interviews and participation in external events, meetings, seminars and conferences incl. CES 2018.• Facilitating workshops and events related to new technology, such as the FinTech Academy, which brought visiting Danish corporates and start-ups together with major Silicon Valley firms, entrepreneurs, accelerators and venture capitalists to inspire and nurture new partnerships.
