About Kevin Maher

My goal is to find career opportunities to design, test, implement, and systematize innovative value-based care contract concepts to more effectively scale value/risk-based contract concepts in order to support the growing need to comply with more complex based value-based contract requirements to control the total cost of care and improve quality performance. I have a long track record of increasing role accountabilities and accomplishments in my consulting and product/program design in the value-based care space across commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and Special Needs Populations. I believe that the greatest opportunities to improve patient experience and reducing total cost of care and quality exists at the interface of payor and provider functions, leveraging population health data, network management, evidence based protocols, payment alignment and benefit design to incentivize the right patient behaviors and care coordination to ensure the treatment plan is executed as planned. I also continue to be very interested in the consumer engagement experience relative to health and wellness solutions that seek to provide a multi-channel experience aimed at supporting the consumer's role in assuming accountability for their own health -- a trend that is accelerating as government and employers continue to roll back health benefits and increase out of pocket costs.Specialties: Value based care, care transformation, product management, strategy and operational consulting and patient engagement
