• Migrated the IMechE’s Near You website, a site used by over 90,000 members globally, on time and to specification. Cleansed content to ensure correct web terminology was used and Search Engine Optimisation was.
• Responsible for administrating site and assisting end-users with their enquiries
• Wrote best practice user guide to encourage users to adhere to IMechE branding guidelines
• Ensured that committee members were given access to correct technical tools, such as mailbox and Lyris List Server access, to assist them in spreading knowledge of mechanical engineering
• Designed a registration form and helpdesk GUI, which enabled committee members to register their details electronically

Constructed my own personal website (kamweb), to showcase my portfolio of websites, intranets and internal micro sites. Amended some of these sites to ensure they had a more modern look and feel.

Responsible for the migration of ImechE’s 2000 page website to their new Sitefinity Content Management System. Ensured that content was ‘cleansed’, modules added, images updated and visibility in search engines was improved.

• Consulted with the Marketing Team and various departmental managers in the production of a new Securicor intranet. Worked from initial analysis and design concepts and within branding guidelines to produce a fresh.
• Worked in tandem with the Project Manager and customer‘s Marketing Manager to design, construct and manage www.fuelserv.com, a website dedicated to providing up-to-date information about their growing fuel network *
• Re-styled the company intranet in accordance with corporate branding and the content and visual design requirements of the new DHL board of directors
• Liaised with the Java Programmer on numerous in-house web projects including a Purchase Order System, a Holiday System and a Password Reset System to produce clean, stylish, corporate web front ends
• Worked on conceptual designs provided by an external design company and in collaboration with the Marketing Department, constructed and managed www.gobluediamond.co.uk, an e-commerce website that allowed customers to.
• Trained to a high level in the use of Communiqué, a Web Content Management System designed to create and maintain content for www.dhl.co.uk. This allowed me to become the first point of contact to resolve any issues.
