Turnaround CEO at cutting-edge SaaS company. Recruited by VCs to turn around struggling, unprofitable Apangea Math which had flat sales, a 45% renewal rate and only a few months of cash left. Recruited a new leadership team, raised capital, rewrote platform with 100% new code/content/instructional design, doubled size of product line and rebranded the company and product. These and other actions by our great management team turned around the company with these strong results:• Quintupled sales, after turnaround they grew at 34% CAGR • After years of losses the company became profitable and cash flow positive• Renewal rate grew to >100%+ (including growth on renewals)• Paid subscriptions grew from 80,000 to 3,500,000• Grew student math problems solved annually on the system to 1.2 billion• Made software highly effective: an independent, third party study of 755,000 Texas students over two years proved Think Through Math raised test scores 22% statewide. Led $115MM company, a portfolio of educational media services, including the world largest private satellite network, to its highest profit.

CEO of leading distributor of DVDs and software to higher and secondary education markets. Lead company growth from $14MM to $31MM in 3.5 years.

Lead team that launched Newbridge Educational Publishing (NEP), intrapreneurial start up within Newbridge Communications. NEP grew to $25MM in sales.
