I am fortunate to be working in PET Imaging, at a time of growth in the industry where we are making exciting advances in patient care and enablement of pharma to have successful clinical trials resulting in therapeutics previously out of reach. I take satisfaction in taking projects and biomarkers from the concept to operational phase, in creating something, and especially when hiring and developing staff to achieve enduring success. PETNET, a wholly owned brand of Siemens Healthineers, is filled with passionate people, world-class people doing world-class work, and I'm proud to play a role in enabling our teams to be successful.A few specifics:- 5 Direct Reports, 35 Indirect.- Key interface role with drug Sponsors in multiple respects, from evaluation of feasibility and CMO offering, contracting, process onboarding and development where needed, training and deployment to sites, and ongoing continuous improvement and monitoring. I very much enjoy the relationships built with most NDA holders for cyclotron-produced PET radiopharmaceuticals.- Responsible for business cases justifying >25+ million USD investment annually, prioritizing the spend within PETNET for new construction and re-investment in current sites.- Following UK delegation and role of International Operations Director, I retain a role as liaison between the US headquarters and our OUS locations, including capital budgets and operational support. Hands-on involvement in the launch of 3 international locations and operations management of several PETNET international sites.-As prior manager and regional director of PET facilities, I retain a good understanding of all aspects of operations including cyclotron operations and maintenance through biomarker production. This soup-to-nuts understanding of the field I believe helps me manage a workforce and challenging topics more effectively.
