CurrentI am currently a Managing Director in the Disputes, Compliance, and Investigations Practice at Stout Risius Ross with a focus in Intellectual Property and Commercial Litigation. I have offered written, deposition, and trial expert testimony on various forms of intellectual property and commercial damages (patent infringement, copyright infringement, trademark infringement, trade secret misappropriation, and breach of contract) and my opinions have been accepted in U.S. District Court. I lead project teams through all phases of economic damages and valuation engagements, including discovery assistance, fact finding, report writing, damages quantification, financial modeling, deposition, and trial. I have managed numerous intellectual property and commercial litigation projects from their inception through the completion of a damages or valuation report and have authored and signed reports quantifying economic damages and the economic value of multi-million dollar intellectual property portfolios.I have also provided pro bono consulting services in both litigation and non-litigation contexts on various subjects. Sample pro bono matters include evaluating damages relating to suspected counterfeiting of sporting good products, evaluating a class action settlement offer for copyright holders, and calculating restitution damages for certain measures of economic harm suffered by an abuse victim.
