This role entails working as the Senior Maintenance Engineer for Rio Tinto's Greater Brockman hub on a 5/2/4/3 FIFO roster: - Leading a team of 20+ mechanical engineers, project engineers, classified plant inspectors, condition monitoring technicians and breakdown coordinators across the Greater Brockman region in Fixed Plant applications - Recruitment, development and upskilling of team members and technicians - Devising and implementing the condition monitoring strategy across Fixed Plant assets - Management and execution of small - medium capital projects - Coordination, forecasting and planning of department's capital spending - Developing capital expenditure applications for debottlebecking and safety improvement projects up to $2m - Appointed Person for Classified Plant management across the entire Greater Brockman region - Development of classified plant framework as well the monitoring and maintaining compliance to relevant standards and regulations - Influencing and leading the region's cultural and development framework as a member of the Fixed Plant senior leadership team - Supporting and assisting the Fixed Plant maintenance teams with acting Superintendent coverage - Development of a Safety Projects interface meeting, coordinating feedback and priorities from front line team members through to site leadership and engineering teams - Management of Change SME for all Fixed Plant mechanical submissions

Engaged at Rio Tinto's Nammuldi Below Water Table plant in the role of maintenance engineer on a 8/6 FIFO roster, which involved: - Providing technical and engineering support to Fixed Plant maintenance team's - Conducting RCA's and 5Y investigations of Fixed Plant asset failure's - Experience in various Fixed Plant processing assets such as gyro, jaw and cone crushers, conveyors, apron feeders, scrubbers, vibrating screens, belt filters, stackers, reclaimers and TLO circuits - Raising capital expenditure applications for small improvement projects - Managing small capital projects through Feasibility, Design, Execution and Close out stages - Reviewing and adjusting maintenance tactics to ensure plant reliability - Reviewing and adjusting BOMs within SAP to ensure adequate critical stock availability - Liaising with consultants and SME's on both improvement and debottlenecking initiatives - Drafting SWP documents to allow for safe execution of common maintenance tasks

Employed at Minprovise as a mechanical engineer and fitter, with knowledge of maintenance procedures on cone and jaw crushers, sizers and stacker/reclaimers as well as managing small construction projects for clients. The role consisted of overseeing shutdown progress, attending client update meetings, assisting with fabrication of one off items, procurement and quality management as well as drafting maintenance procedures for material handling equipment.

Engaged as a construction manager for the on-site assembly of turnkey lubrication packages for all large mining players across multiple NPI expansions.

Assisted with the construction of several lubrication facilities across the Pilbara.
