 Own and manage a profitable construction firm specializing in the installation of commercial casework, architectural millwork and themed interiors. Plan and direct projects from inception to completion, including pre-construction consultation, budgeting, engineering, construction methodology, material procurement, project execution, and final acceptance.  Supervise project teams of up to 100 employees, ensuring delivery of products and services in an efficient and high quality manner. Directed several projects simultaneously, overseeing productivity, quality, safety and communications while providing motivation.  Work closely with clients located throughout the United States and Canada. Manage projects that range from $10,000 to $10 million for customers that have included Ritz Carlton, Federated Department Stores, and The Mormon Church.  Serve as the main point-of-contact throughout the project for schedules, reports, updates, and resolution of typical and escalated issues.  Draft critical path plans, task lists, and schedules. Regularly communicate with managers, contractors, vendors, and clients in order to complete projects accurately, on time and within budget.  Track and evaluate performance reports and overall results for each project task, identifying successful areas and those that need improvement.  Manage administrative, operational, legal, and financial aspects for the company as well as for client projects. Create and monitor reports, spreadsheets, and databases for annual business plans, profit and loss statements, customer information, accounts payable and accounts receivable, inventory, and taxes.
