Liaise with other departments at daily meetings to ensure priorities and continuous improvement plans are agreed using LEAN tools including 5S KAIZEN and Visual Management. Lead the team by example by following Safe Systems of Work and Method of Work procedures having a "can do" attitude and implementing a "right first time" approach. Played a key role in reducing the time to carry out daily dimension changes from 16 hours down to 8 hours thus increasing the weekly dimension changes from 3 per week to 8 per week making a £16 million gain per year.● Planner/Scheduler - Planning and organising the teams weekly schedule in line with production demands, creating and planning dimension change tooling sheets and compiling Method of Work documents and training matrix plans using Microsoft Word and Excel.● Trainer/Validator - Mentor new engineers and apprentices through 3 Michelin engineering levels T3, T2 up to T1 by establishing a training program and assessing each individuals competency levels through each stage.
