•Independently compound cosmetic/OTC products according to written and electronic instructions while adhering to cGMP’s.•Use variety of equipment in the manufacturing process to meet scheduling demands while ensuring the quality of the product.•Perform inspection of equipment and given written approval to proceed with different compounding operations.•Involved with other departments in the testing of equipment and products.•Work with Filling to ensure delivery of compound.•Perform continuous process system calibrations.•Keep Compounding floor moving along efficiently and reduce paperwork for Area Supervisor

•Independently manufacture product on compound systems within allotted labor standards.•Disassemble, clean/sanitize, and reassemble compound system.•Investigate/troubleshoot production problems, recognize equipment and product problems.•Perform in-process product testing•Perform “clean” and “prior” checks of equipment.•Approve transfer of batches to Filling.•Calibrate equipment as necessary.•Assist in debugging of new equipment. Work with support groups to install, commission and validate such equipment.•Assist in manufacture of new products and processes, including the manufacture of test batches on compound and PDG systems.•Train new technicians.

•Receive raw materials using POMS.•Dispense raw materials as per Batch Production Record/POMS/Electronic Batch Record within allotted labor standards.•Perform reconciliation of materials.•Disassemble, clean and reassemble compound equipment.•Make proper connections at manifolds to provide Compound to Fill/Pack.•Perform daily weight checks and use scales in Compounding.•Reconcile OTC batches.•Perform the regeneration of the DI Water System.•Make introductory level batches on processing equipment.•Perform in-process product testing (i.e., pH, viscosity, density).•Transfer batches to storage vessels, completing the necessary documentation.

•Move materials needed for department and manufacturing process.•Perform housekeeping and dispose of waste.•Perform and document verification of steps relating to manufacturing process.•Load/unload cleaning equipment.•DI Water Regeneration checker.
