The Scarborough gas field is ~380km West North West of Burrup Peninsula, in North Western Australia with 11Tcf of recoverable gas reserves in 900-950m water depth. The dry gas export pipeline is a hybrid 36"/32"dia. pipeline 433km long from the proposed Scarborough Floating Production Unit (FPU) to the existing Pluto LNG Plant. Saipem will utilise the Saipem Endeavour (nearshore) and modified Castorone to install the trunkline through 1400m water depth with inline structures.
