I am an aspiring accountant currently pursuing my Bachelor’s in Accounting at UNLV, building on hands-on experience and a strong academic foundation. Previously, I worked as an Accounting Assistant at The University Corporation at Monterey Bay, where I managed key tasks such as reconciling procurement cards, verifying expenses to prevent duplicates, and handling payment requests, including travel reimbursements with accurate chart string usage. I also gained experience in compiling financial data, managing complex spreadsheets, and preparing journal entries for various funds, including post-award accounts.My academic achievements include earning Associate degrees in Business Administration and Economics from Monterey Peninsula College, where I received multiple Academic Achievement Awards for maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher.In addition to my accounting experience, I completed a finance internship at Moss Adams, gaining exposure to financial analysis and auditing, and worked at Aubergine, where I developed skills in customer service and teamwork. My entrepreneurial endeavors, including managing my own LLC in Nevada and operating a DBA in California, have further enhanced my financial expertise and commitment to business growth. I am eager to apply my skills and experiences to make a meaningful impact in the accounting and finance field.
