Successfully started a small business from scratch and over time built it up into a successful medium size business before its subsequent sale on 2017.MME was the industry forerunner in the installation of underground utilities through the use of directional drilling and open trenching, with the businesses specialty being underground power.As the director of MME, I was instrumental in obtaining large work scopes from the big industry players including; Rio Tinto, Logicamms, Tasman Power, Horizon Power, Western Power, Water Corporation, FMG, Robb Carr, multiple local governments and NBN Co.

Began as a labourer laying underground power, within 12 months I was promoted to supervisor to oversee the installation of underground power on new sub - divisions and in built up areas. Further on down the track I was promoted to site manager, to run the roll out program to remove overhead power and replace it with underground power.
