Most recently I have worked with biologists in the Nelson lab at UCONN. Some key technologies include python, pandas, scikit, selenium, D3.js, jpl, and R. For one example we have applied iterative bi-clustering upon single cell 10x transcriptomes, extracted differential gene expression profiles for each subsequent cluster and used existing platforms to associate top deferentially expressed genes to human readable biological entities. The process of iterative bi-clustering naturally creates a binary tree where each node has association scores to a number of biological entities. These score sets are visualized by word clouds and displayed in a binary tree. (see link attached)
