Worked with Jhpiego's Maternal Immunization Readiness Initiative project ,the Ministry of Health, Digital and Promotion Department, to develop a training guide for the Maternal Immunization Readiness Assessment Tool. This tool will be used in Kenya to assess the preparedness of healthcare facilities for the introduction of future maternal vaccines such as RSV and GBS.As an Assistant Communication Professional at Jhpiego, I fulfilled various roles aimed at enhancing our organizational communication efforts:Implemented social media advocacy aligned with Jhpiego's programmatic areas, engaging in conversations and disseminating information as directed. Supported the programs team by drafting and editing reports, presentations, official communications, and articles to ensure clarity and accuracy. Managed social media messaging, responses, and developed success stories and audio-visual materials to effectively communicate our mission and achievements.

Support the programme team with drafting and editing of reports, presentations, official communications, and articles.Provide logistical support on activities such as the organization and reporting of conferences, events, forums and training workshops, etc.Plan and manage virtual meetings with relevant partners and stakeholders on regular basis.Represents COVAW in various stakeholders 'meetings.Support in communication related matters.Implement social media advocacy in line with COVAWs programmatic areas.Prepare write ups, Op-eds for COVAW website based on program work and organizational position.

-Worked with the communications team to capture,document and develop a collection of success stories,failures,and lessons learnt from the field and have a library of stories for use in reports,articles,communications activities,impact assessment and for fundraising purposes.-Provided support to Communications team on events,world health days,webinars,research disseminations meetings,EPN Biennial Forum,workshops and conferences.-Assisted in curating and drafting social media posts on Facebook,Twitter and LinkedIn sites on projects impacts and other development issues affecting the network.-Supported in reviewing of EPN Literature.
