I was hired as an intern during summer of 2015 at BH Aircraft, a world leading provider of development and manufacturing services for the aerospace and power plant industry. Here I received both engineering and machinist work which allowed me to effectively articulate information amongst the designing world and the machining world. I spent much of my time designing prodcuts for BH Aircraft via Solid Works, as well as learning G-Code and M-Code referencing in order to use thier CNC machines to design aircraft products.Aside from engineering work, I served as an assistant to many different machinist, but mainly the welding department and with a tool maker. With tolerances as tight as the ten-thousandths, being meticulous and organized is demanded greatly. I assisted in many operations and process including: milling, lathing, brazing, heat treating, resistance and fusion welding, tacking, and operating/supervising CNC machines.
