In this position, I worked with a team of trucking supervisors and truck pushers to coordinate the daily schedules for 80+ truck drivers and trucks, based on demand and the available resources. Available resources include the truckers and trucks ready to go each day.The company is involved with job sites across the state of Texas, providing seal coat, hot mix, base, and other materials for highway, road, and bridge construction. We also schedule back hauls, with a goal of having 100% of the trucks with a back haul every day to maximize profitability.An important aspect of the job is to coordinate and maintain appropriate levels of materials at four asphalt plants located in Lorena, Youngsport, Angus, and Centerville, to service and support the outlying job sites. Safety is the highest priority, and we achieve this by monitoring the condition of the trucks, trailers, and other equipment, working with drivers to ensure they do pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensuring the drivers operate safely at all times. We also work to develop a customized training program for each new hire, and coach drivers to develop the strongest workforce possible. We monitor and manage a weekly bonus program based on the drivers' efficiency, safety, attendance, and being on time.

In this position, I developed and maintained aircraft PDM and MOD production schedules using Microsoft Project. My duties included preparing weekly progress and EV presentations using pivot tables and V-Lookups in excel for management & customer; preparing and presenting closeout documentation for project phases; reconciling production schedule costs to bid contracts; supporting management concerning schedule analysis (Critical Path, Total Slack, Milestone Dates, Delivery Date, etc), cost/schedule performance reporting and resource requirements; working closely with Aircraft Managers, Aircraft Supervisors, Program Management and Planning concerning scheduling engineering changes, customer requested changes, and changes to required MODs to aircraft. I obtained a U.S. Security Clearance in 2012.

Co-managed a $12 million construction project for the Texas Farm Bureau, Waco, Texas, utilizing Microsoft Project, negotiated bids from vendors and subcontractors, and coordinated their work in to meet the demands of the schedule. I worked with City of Waco inspectors to manage regulated aspects of the project including elevator installation, fire alarm system, sprinklers, concrete pours and certificates of occupancy. Also, managed and monitored safety on the jobsite.
