I truly believe that God has blessed me with amazing experiences to lead me to the place I am today. From inner city teaching, Christian school teaching, to life as a missionary in Africa, God has been guiding me every step of the way. This includes youth outings, family outings, men's retreats, day camps, VBS, baptisms, missions training, over night camps, disabled group outings, church/school fundraisers, foster children outings, and so much more. I am also responsible for the fundraising it takes to keep Promised Land open and accessible to the many churches and ministry organizations in our community.

Our wrestling program at Christian Life is centered around Christ and building up boys into strong Godly men. Winning is nice and we have had our share of state qualifiers and team regional championships, but by far our greatest successes come off the mat. They come in the form of God doing a mighty work in our wrestlers, developing them into the men that God has called them to be.

ZEMA (Zion Evangelical Ministries of Africa) has one of the greatest open doors in Christian Missions today. There are approximately 15 million people living in Southern Africa that trace their religious roots to Christ Community Church in Zion Illinois. Christ Community Church sent a missionary over to South Africa in the late 1800's and God has been working amongst the amaZioni (the Zulu word for "Zionists") ever since. ZEMA mainly trains local pastors in the Bible so they can bring that accurate Biblical teaching back to their own churches. Most of these amazioni pastors have been pastoring their churches with no biblical teaching and many times without even a Bible. They are continually requesting more teaching, so much so that ZEMA can not keep up with the high demand. It is obvious God is working in the hearts of the the amaZioni.

My first teaching experience was at Park High School as a history teacher. Working in the intercity helped me to become more rounded and cultured as a person. Even though there were some very difficult situations, I loved teaching there and am grateful for the role I was given in the students lives.
