As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist and Port Engineer at Weeks Marine, I oversaw the repairs and maintenance of assigned dredging equipment, and ensure their compliance with EPA and Coast Guard regulations. I have more than 40 years of experience in the marine industry and the last 16 in dredging, with a strong background in management, project estimation, dredging, inventory control, and inspection.I also trained personnel on EPA rules and regulations, manage all spills and non-compliance issues, and submit final reports to EPA annually. Additionally, I manage and maintain a GeoForce satellite and cellular tracking system on all of our floating equipment, setting up and maintaining our equipment and authorized users. My mission was to ensure environmental compliance and safety for Weeks Marine, and to contribute to its success and reputation in the marine sector.
