I love to push myself and drive projects forward. I have a decade of project leadership experience including in the game industry working on both live service multiplayer title and digital multiplayer card games, corporate innovative gamification efforts with Scotiabank and Correctional Service of Canada, cutting edge national initiatives aimed at player engagement (with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming and Gambling Research Lab), and innovative research in virtual reality and immersive virtual environments.I also have enjoyed working with many technologies over several decades, including nearly 10 years of experience designing software and using Virtual Reality, experience with multiple game engines and rendering technologies (i.e., Source, Unreal, Unity, Lumberyard, O3DE, Gnome, Vulkan, Nvidia Optix),numerous programming languages, and full stack architectures.I have a passion for understanding how people and players think, with experience gained on numerous projects throughout my career, ranging from effective player engagement, understand how people successfully navigate novel real and virtual spaces and avoid getting lost, developing mathematical models and machine learning/AI to gain further insights, and more.
