Hi, my name is Kevin Ray and I’ve been in construction since my teenage years. My father was a painting contractor so I was raised with a paint brush in my hand. Later years, I married a beautiful girl from Chalmette and her father was a framing contractor. I was brought up under his tutelage. Construction has always been in my family from painting, carpentry, heating and air, etc. I love the smell of construction along with the sounds and the environment and atmosphere of building and renovation.I’ve spent the last 20 years as a State Licensed General Contractor doing framing, carpentry, renovations, painting, roofing and siding. Six years ago I opened a flooring retail store, Superior Flooring and Construction. I retail granite, cabinets, floors, backsplash and the list goes on. I work with designers to help customers design their dream homes.
