As a result of my practice, I also work with colleagues on estate planning issues, focusing primarily on the succession issues. I have also counseled clients on a variety of business, real estate and personal matters, including distribution arrangements, employment relationships, the purchase, sale and financing of real estate, intellectual property issues, equipment and real estate leases and loans, business and personal credit lines and other contractual issues.Mergers and AcquisitionsI have also assisted numerous clients in structuring mergers and acquisitions and other exit strategies, having managed transactions ranging from a million to a hundred million dollars. These transactions have not been limited to any specific industry but they primarily involve either privately held or family owned businesses.
