In my Materials Management role I managed the warehouse team, steel/aluminum materials team, our outside vendor driver team to include commercial drivers and oversaw all Government Property flows in and out of both our Kilgore, TX and Torrance, CA locations. Aside from leadership activities I utilized an MRP system to review stagnate materials, perform inventory valuation reviews, status production schedules and review historical data. Also worked to review and update individual material data in our MRP system. Due to the nature of this role, I was responsible for reviewing the budget yearly for cost savings and then tracking spend throughout the year in order to meet the budget goal. In tandem with my management role, I was also responsible for managing our maintenance and facilities group that was responsible for facility repairs, mechanical repairs and general maintenance. I also had to build a contractor/supplier base in order to get bids on work outside of our departmental scope. I was responsible for review of these bids and doing analysis on competing bids. I was also responsible for understanding and adhering to a determined budget in this role.Additionally, I filled the role as the forklift trainer for our facility. I am certified to do this through the East Texas Safety Council.

Managed a team of 20-25 team members that handled inbound technical support, customer service and sales oriented calls for cellular phone needs.Reviewed and coached team to KPI metrics, daily customer interaction reviews and system usage. Managed day to day payroll duties for team.Reviewed daily variances for coaching needs.I consistently coached and lead teams to success and was given the opportunity to manage new hire teams fresh to the production floor in tandem with my existing seasoned team.
