Nottingham Terminal

• Day to day running of the terminal operations from a busy control room.• Working three shift system.• Budgeting >£1m• Product Imports via rail and pipeline and on occasions road imports, including quality control, import procedures.• Exports from loading gantries which entails the close monitoring of the automated loading system.• Interrogation and fault finding in all areas of the terminal from admin, pc, mechanical and electrical.• Stock management for the storage tanks, with the capacity of up to 10M lts of fuel,.• Contractor management and supervision for all contractors working on the terminal this includes the day to day supervision of site based contractors performing operational duties, producing RAMS (risk assessment and method statements), prioritizing defects and works to be completed.• Reviewing existing practices and procedures and producing new when required. • HSEQ, training updates, on site contractor competencies, environmental reporting/ monitoring, COSHH.• Chair and secretary for the local HS&EQ committee.• Intermediary for site electrical contractors due to my vast experience of the onsite layout and systems in place at Nottingham Terminal, providing advice and suggestions with any projects/installations.
