 Transport MWD equipment to and from rig-site as required. Provide specialized supervision during the installation of MWD equipment into drilling contractor’s bottom-hole assembly. Monitor and operate MWD equipment at the field site in accordance to Cathedral Energy Services execution plans, guidelines, and established operating limits. Monitor and verify the accuracy of directional survey and gamma logs. Complete pre job function test of all MWD equipment. Troubleshoot operational problems and proactively work towards increased equipment reliability, reduced drilling time and cost savings to customers. Perform field level maintenance and inventory to the MWD system on location. Pre/post job briefing and reporting as required. Management of MWD tools on location and communicate with Tool Coordinator (Calgary Facility) regarding MWD tool requirements. Processing gamma strip logs to corporate and client’s standards. Available to respond to customer needs while on location (on call 24 hours). Daily communication with MWD Coordinator regarding daily operational reports and summary reports. Communicate with rig contractor, client representative and Cathedral office to ensure client’s targets and objectives are met.REQUIREMENTS: 2+ years of rig experience is preferred.
