Several contracts valued over $50 million and one over $165 million. Setup project procurement procedures and templates based on Project requirements. Worked in conjunction with the Project Controls team to ensure the procurement schedule supported the construction.Buyer/Expeditor Detroit Heavy Oil Upgrade Project - Irvine, CA August 2008 – March 2012 Responsible for the requisition, evaluation, procurement, and expediting of over $100M in large mechanical packages, instrumentation, and plant wide control systems from suppliers in Europe, Asia, South and North America. Manage supplier schedule and cost to meet requirements of the project master schedule and budgets. Coordinate with project team to ensure successful delivery of required materials and systems to construction efforts and plant start up. Oversee inventory and shipping releases of 3 off-site warehouses. Led efforts in demand planning and expediting for the successful 2010 shutdown.

Developed material requirements based on forecasted demand, while maintaining a lean inventory. Negotiated contracts with vendors to reduce procurement costs and setup strategic pricing agreements with key suppliers.
