I began my career after graduation with MMP Architects, through which I gained invaluable experience with a diverse range of project types including health care centres, commercial and multi-family residential complexes as well as industrial facilities. Striving to continually learn, I’ve made strategic career moves by seeking greater challenges at Stantec Architecture, Verne Reimer Architecture Incorporated, Nejmark Architect, Architecture 77 Inc., and now AECOM. I’ve gained further insight into the details of design and the technical aspects of architecture. All of this experience has culminated in a high level of technical understanding, with a focus on complete integration of design with technical functionality. My primary focus has been in the research, coordination, and detailing of reliable building assemblies.I have been involved in all aspects of project development, from early schematic design, all the way through to reviewing finished projects for compliance with design intent and conformance to current building standards. My experience and meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of a project assist the design team in avoiding many potential problems during the preparation and coordination of working drawings and specifications. I continually seek to advance the profession through the development of quality, innovation and sustainable design. I contribute to the success of many projects through my attention to detail and my dedication to the technical resolution of architecture.
