I started off working for Corning Inc. in Wilmington NC while attending UNCW, working in the computer information service department (CIS). I worked there for two years when I moved to networking a mortgage banking company with it's eight locations. From there I was promoted to the head CIS coordinator and was in charge of a team. I then was offered a job to work for the mortgage bank to originate loans which turns out I was good at talking with people and my knowledge in computers, I was able to create a lot of training material that is still used today. I became top producer for two years in a row because of my computer skills, I was able to stay organized and also use it to my advantage in finding new clients. When that company was sold in 2005, I opened up my own mortgage broker company for two years. My wife was home sick so we moved to Calabash where she is in her family business and this is where I opened up East Coast Computers.
