From September 2013, I have been involved in the agricultural sector as Financial Manager in Mpumalanga for Eswatini Plantations (Pty) Ltd. As Financial Manager for a macadamia and avocado farming entity, much of my role initially has been to generate financial models and plans for expansion of the farm to 400ha of macadamia’s, over and above overseeing the day-to-day accounting and finance functions of a busy farming entity. Due to expansion of the agricultural sector within our group, I have also assisted our Eswatini Agricultural department with their financial models, and software implementation for recording of farming activities.
