I have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Youngstown State University. I have over 30 years of Rubber Manufacturing experience and 15 years of Plastic Manufacturing experience in a variety of markets: Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial, and Architectural. My background of responsibilities include: Product design, Engineering sales support, Engineering management (multi-sites), Quality management (multi-sites), Plant management, Plant start-ups, New building construction, Sales, Continuous improvement, IATF16949, AS9100, Capital expenditures, Compound development and more.I have worked for 4 different companies: Carlisle -14 yrs, Mantaline - 3 yrs, Johnson Rubber - 4 yrs, and most recently Trelleborg almost 12 yrs.My Rubber experience includes equal experience in molding (compression, transfer, and injection) and extruding (dual material, co-ex with wire/metal carrier, string) with materials including: EPDM, EPDM sponge, Neoprene, Nitrile, Silicone, SBR, Natural rubber.My Plastic experience includes mostly extruding, with a few years of injection molding and blow molding with the following materials: PP, HDPE, TPU, TPV, Nylon, PVC (rigid and flex).I have implemented new technologies, opened new facilities, transferred business between facilities, added on to buildings, as well as responsibilities for building a new facility.
