Manager, Inventory Control
• Founder / Chair of the Item Data Governance Committee. Led discussions with departmental leaders throughout the organization to decide on appropriateness of new data requests, identify source of data, and assign department ownership to ensure data integrity for downstream systems (revenue management, public website, customer website, forecasting module, etc.). • Sought out to become a member of GMP Change Control Committee, which reviewed / approved all changes to manufacturing processes: identified changes that would have impacted the supply chain, allowed a proactive approach to address concerns, and prepared supply chain system to accommodate the changes. • Led implementation of electronic approvals for Purchasing Process that had been a compliance concern for the company. As part of implementation, collaborated with Finance to restructure senior leadership approval level documentation, to align with system configuration. Navigated through “resistance to change,” which included several senior leaders. • Administrator for the cycle count program. Developed automation that ensured appropriate cycle-count frequency, based on dollar value and volume. Conducted root cause analysis for counts that fell outside threshold and performed investigations (e.g., associate interviews and documentation review) to identify discrepancy reason. Achieved so high an inventory accuracy that Finance approved results each year, without having to conduct a full physical inventory.
