• Coordinated creating the rating agency presentations that were given by the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and other executive management to the respective rating agencies and key shareholders.
• Administered and maintained the long-term financial planning tool used to: (1) perform financial and cash forecasting, (2) calculate utility rate and return requirements, and (3) conduct scenario analysis related to.

• Responsible for providing accounting support for jointly owned power plants for which MGE serves as the operator, and for jointly owned power plants for which MGE is a nonoperating owner. Duties include:
• Preparing multiple monthly bills, totaling approximately $950,000 each month
• Creating monthly journal entries
• Monitoring and reconciling general ledger account balances
• Developing monthly dashboard reports detailing activity of major capital projects
• Preparing and reviewing internal budgets

Assisted in performing tests of key financial controls to ensure they are properly designed and operating effectively in accordance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Also performed audits to verify compliance with standards established by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC).
